Olympus Expedition @ Θεσσαλονίκη 2011 (Caving Club PROTEAS)

The Caving Society of Thessaloniki named “Proteas” on August of 2011 organized the expedition “Olympus 2011”. Main scope of the expedition was the exploration of the unexplored caves and the mapping of the explored pits. Ten cavers have taken part in the expedition from the clubs (except the host club) Chiron of Volos and Academik of Sofia-Bulgary. Seven pits and horizontal caves were explored and mapped during the expedition.
